About D.A. Doodles

I've loved bikes since I was a schoolboy, growing up listening to the "Sounds of the Isle of Man TT" on vinyl records, narrated by Murray Walker and played at the highest possible volume, much to the puzzlement of the rest of my family. If you've found your way here it's likely that you share the same love and enthusiasm for bikes as I do, so I'm truly grateful for your spiritual company.

Perhaps I should refer to this project as "DaDoodles Revisited" as, from 2005 until 2012, I documented almost every trip Lorraine and I made together, both home and away. The demise of that first site was caused by a lack of time and the inexorable increase in software and hosting costs but now, happily retired, I can begin again the tortuous road to learning new software and web building techniques far in advance of the resources I used in days gone by.

While adding a gentle reminder that this is a recovery mission without a completion schedule I remain hopeful that, as the project continues, you'll revisit every once in a while, just to see how things are progressing. Don't leave it too long!
